It was a warm morning that Coraline started to feel contractions, her stomach ached and she thought it was because she was hungry. She waddled out of the room and down the stairs to get something to eat. As she looked in the fridge for something to eat, her stomach was given another big squeeze from a contraction. Her hands quickly went to her stomach holding it tight. She uttered a couple swear words and once it was gone, she brought her attention back to the fridge, she reached in for a water bottled and accidentally dropped it. She looked at the floor, seeing that it was wet, she looked down at the water bottle seeing that it was still unopened, she realized what as going on.
"Mom! Hurry, It's time!" Coraline yelped grabbing onto her stomach as another contraction came, her father had gone to work only two hours ago. As her mother rushed down that stairs, keys in hand, and little brother and sisters right behind her. Manuela quickly ushered Coraline to the car. After the children were buckled in and so was Coraline, she sped out of there. Coraline was trying to stay as calm as she could, all she could think about was the pain that the contractions were giving her. she could hear her siblings talking in the back, while her mother drove like a maniac to get to the hospital. All she could think of was that she was going to have a little baby with her soon, she didn't know the gender because she wanted to be surprised.
Soon they reached the hospital and Coraline got out of the car quickly, well as quickly as she could. Her mother quickly caught up to her along with the children. Her mom started talking to the nurse at the front desk to get her in a room. Coraline sat down the a wheelchair waiting to be put in a room. After waiting a few minutes Coraline was put in a room and told to change into a gown that they had given her. After a while of laying in the bed waiting for the doctor to tell her that she was ready to give birth, she was starting to get very uncomfortable. As soon as she started to move around to get comfortable the doctor came in and checked to see if she was ready. "Looks like we are ready to have this baby!" he said, with a smile on his face. Coraline couldn't smile back seeing as how much pain she was in.
Soon, the nurses started to move her into a room where she would have the baby. As the door closed, she looked behind her to see her mom fighting with someone. Coraline didn't know who it was, but he seemed to make Manuela extremely mad. She thought nothing of it and leaned back in the bed
