roleplay sample , The sun shone through my curtains when I woke up. I thought about the sun, the colors of the morning, and how it was a day like that when my dad told me and Ana that Mom had left. I didn't understand then - I was three. I was so young. My sister understood a little more and cried for days, even weeks.
A tear fell onto the pink pillow case. I don't remember her face, her features, but Dad tells me I look just like she did. That kind of scares me. I hate being on my own. I can't share my emotions as well with someone miles away. In any case, I wouldn't tell them anyway. I wouldn't want anyone to know that my mom was careless enough to leave her family when I was younger.
I slipped out of bed and walked groggily to my closet. I had to get my outfit ready for the day. I had to put my past behind me and forget about someone I barely knew.

Ahh, my only problem is your sample. We're a 3rd person RP site (He, she), and our minimum is 200 (though we do prefer more, and for the sample, we highly prefer you give us your usual). Could you perhaps give us an example of that? Otherwise, it's pretty good so far.

Aaahh! Okay, so, 1. This isn't 200 words, it's a little less. I can write more, but I'm stealing from myself, so this is all I got at the moment. And it's the closest thing to my usual posting that I do. =] So, here goes;;

She sped along the uneven asphalt road, the sun shining through the visor on her motorcycle helmet. She had no idea where she was going, just that the cars were blurred as she passed them and that she needed gas.

The sleek black motorcycle sped over a bridge where she saw a sign. Cape Fear River. She laughed as she pulled onto an exit.

She pulled up to a gas pump and stepped off the bike. Someone called, "Nice bike, man!" Ravyn smiled as she pulled off her black helmet, letting her dark hair spill into place along her back.

"Thanks," she smiled brightly at the look of shock on the man's face. "man."

She winked at him, her super seductive wink. Ravyn continued to smile as she filled the tank with the foul smelling liquid. She stuck her Visa card in the pay at the pump slot and waited for a reciept.

Ravyn tore the paper and shoved it in her jacket pocket, then zipped it quickly. She straddled the bike, started it, placed the helmet on her head, and took off like a bullet. She was pretty sure the man at the pump was still gaping at her.

I'll go ahead and accept, but a word of advice, rambling on about your character's feelings and thoughts, as well as describing their surroundings, is a good thing. You don't only have to say what they're doing, plus it gives us an invite to your character's personality. Just remember this when you're replying, take a look at the other person's post and keep in mind what details they put thought into, have your character respond to anything you see fit, and keep in mind to show off your character's personality if your posts. Not only does it make it longer, but it also makes it colorful and a whole lot more interesting to read.
Also, don't forget to post in all the claims![/i][/ul]
